The associate of arts degree in computer information systems is designed to 1) train students for professional careers in information systems, 2) prepare students for advanced study, 3) provide opportunities for students in other areas of study which relate to information systems, and 4) meet the computer information systems needs of the University and the community.
The School of Business is in the candidacy stage of Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accreditation. The associate of arts degree in computer information systems will be one of the degrees considered for accreditation by this international business program accrediting body.
