Students graduating with an associate of arts degree in Business Management will possess:

  • Broad understanding of the inter-relationship of the core business disciplines: management, marketing, operations, information systems, accounting, and finance.  
  • Ability to apply the major functions of management to a real-world business problem or situation.
  • Apply information literacy skills to acquire and use data and information to respond to a real-world business problem or situation
  • Ability to communicate information and knowledge in oral, written, and digital forms.

The School of Business uses a combination of embedded assessments and nationally normed examinations. The business management major embeds assessments in the respective courses.
