Students graduating with an associate of arts degree in Computer Information Systems
will possess:
- Broad knowledge of emerging information technology, electronic commerce, and management
information systems to support business decision-making.
- Ability to apply information technology resources and software applications to business
situations.
- Apply information literacy skills to acquire and use data and information to respond
to a real-world business problem or situation
- Ability to communicate information and knowledge in oral, written, and digital forms.
The School of Business uses a combination of embedded assessments and nationally normed
examinations. The computer information systems major embeds assessments in the respective
courses.
