Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
Within our six Schools & Colleges, UVI offers a wide range of associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs as well as professional certificates.
CLASS provides degrees in Communication, Criminal Justice, English, Humanities, Music Education, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Social work, and Spanish.
The College provides degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Marine Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Process Technology. Opportunities leading to degrees in engineering and medicine at affiliated universities augment our degree offerings.
In this fast-growing field, the School of Agriculture offers degrees in Animal Science, Horticulture, Agricultural Business, Cannabis Biotechnology and more, including certificates in Agroforestry, Aquaculture and Agrotourism, to name a few.
The School of Business provides degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Marketing, Information Systems & Technology as well as Entrepreneurship programs. Master’s degrees are also available including MBA, Executive MBA, and Master of Accounting.
If your goal is to work in the field of education, the School of Education offers many opportunities, from undergraduate degrees in Inclusive Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and Music Education to master’s degrees in Educational Leadership, School Counseling & Guidance, and Math for Secondary Teachers.
The School of Nursing offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Completion program. Graduates of both programs are eligible to apply to take the licensure exam, NCLEX-RN, in any state or territory.
