The Interdisciplinary Studies degrees (BA and BS) serve students who seek the flexibility to pursue multiple interests. Students work closely with an advisor to design their undergraduate degrees and customize their experience.

How it works

Students complete general education requirements, create a focus area inclusive of 45 credit hours and complete up to 35 additional flexible credit hours. You may choose to use many existing UVI certificates and minors as building blocks for your program or integrate study abroad or other unique experiences.

Students design their desired capstone experience or use one of the existing seminars or independent study options.

Depending on your coursework, you can graduate with multiple credentials.
