The graduates of the Hospitality and Tourism Management will be able to:

The School of Business uses a combination of embedded assessments and nationally normed
examinations. The Hospitality and Tourism Management program embeds certification
exams in the respective courses.
The Hospitality and Tourism Management program anticipates the following student outcomes.
Graduates will be able to
- Demonstrate the customer service skills to be successful in the hospitality industry
- Apply knowledge of food and beverage, hotel and resort and tourism sectors to their
respective position within the hospitality and tourism industries
- Demonstrate a mastery of oral and written communication skills
- Analyze and recommend solutions to problems in the operations of restaurants and hotels
- Assist in the creation of a strategic plan for an enterprise in the hospitality industry
- Assist in the creation of a strategic plan for a tourism destination
