UVI's Biology Minor provides a solid foundation in the biological sciences for non-biological
sciences majors. Biology minors take two semsters of introductory biology and then
choose either a molecular or organismal biology track to complete their minor. The
Biology Minor is ideal for students with any biology-adjacent career goals, such as
careers in tourism, education, environmental policy, pharmacy, horticulture, industry,
biochemistry, biophysics, or bioengineering.
