About
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
UVI’s food services, housed in the Dinning Pavilion, is located near the campus bookstore. It is a lively meeting place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or for studying or socializing with friends as it is a spacious dining area and features a variety of delicious dine-in and take-out option served daily and flat screen TVs for your viewing pleasure. Freshly prepared salads options at the salad bar, hearty sandwiches and grill items, homemade soups, sweet and savory entrees, fruit, hot coffee and teas and cold fountain and local beverages. Vegetarian options are also available, while fresh local produce are incorporated into meals as much as possible. Thursdays are centered around themes showcasing culinary creations of different countries and also there's a special Thanksgiving lunch every fall semester. The delicious and nutritious quality, and variety offered by UVI’s food services has drawn not only students, faculty and staff, but also persons from the wider community patronizes this facility.

Rates
All residence hall residents are required to have a dining plan. Guests are welcomed but are required to purchase their own meals. Food services accepts cash and credit cards for your convenience. The meal costs are as follows:
