Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
UVI Saturday Science Enrichment Academy will begin on Saturday, February 12 on the Orville E. Kean Campus. The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) will offer a science enrichment program entitled "UVI Saturday Science Enrichment Academy" (SSEA) for students in grades 7 to twelve. The program will allow students the opportunity to be mentored by UVI professors from February to June 2022. Each month, students will engage in activities that focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics or STEM.
Participants will meet in person one Saturday per month at the Orville E. Kean campus (OEK) on St. Thomas from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Transportation and lunch allowance will be provided.
