About
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The University of the Virgin Islands’ Green Technology Center (CGTC) invites the community to its annual Energy Fair scheduled at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, in the Elridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center on the Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas.
Join CGTC in creating a more sustainable future for the Virgin Islands community. Persons of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to take the opportunity to learn about renewable energy options, cistern maintenance and composting. Participants will have the opportunity to get a feel for electric cars and hear about many other topics of interest.
Experts will discuss affordable redundancy, energy resilience in the home, and what continuity despite disruption means at our Rapid Roundtable Talk discussion.
Don't miss out on this interactive community event highlighting energy resiliency, climate change, and local energy independence.
There will also be food, fun, and free giveaways throughout the day.
