Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The Shaping Equity Through Conservation Entrepreneurial Camp (SETCEC) is looking for aspiring young business leaders ages 16-22.
The SETCEC guides you from Business Basics to Business Ideas to Proven Strategies that will help you ignite the spark of your creative genius into a Business Start-Up. Through hands-on activities, business games and guest speakers, the SETCEC's practical lessons will ENLIGHTEN, EMPOWER and TEACH you how to utilize your knowledge to become Biz-Smart and Savvy by actually starting your OWN business. All participants compete for start-up capital at the SETCEC Venture Capital Competition.
There will be three business plan finalists.
The event will be held for three days beginning on February 3 through 5, 2023 at the Emerald Beach Resort in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
