The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) basketball teams will host Buccaneer Madness on November 3, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Elridge Wilburn Blake Sports and Fitness Center.
Doors open at 7 p.m.
Both men’s and women’s basketball teams will be introduced and participate in separate 3-point shooting contests. Each team will compete in an intrasquad scrimmage, giving fans the first live look at the 2023-2024 rosters. The fan favorite, slam dunk contest, will conclude the night with select participants from the Buccaneer men’s basketball team.
Buccaneer Madness is free and open to the public.
Live performances and other entertainment will be provided. Prizes and giveaways will be on hand for spectators in attendance.
