About
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The University of the Virgin Islands Pre Law-Society is partnering with the Virgin Islands Bar Association Division of Young Lawyers and the Virgin Islands Department of Justice to host a panel event “What Do Lawyers Do?” on April 5, 2024, from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
This event exposes students to a variety of career paths in the legal field with young Virgin Islands attorneys who practice in Business/Corporate law, Immigration law, Criminal prosecution and defense, Government offices, Family Law, and Private Practice.
Attorneys will share their experiences and path to law school.
The Society is reaching out to the Middle and High Schools to encourage students, teachers, and classes to attend in person on the Orville E. Kean Campus in Business 110 on St. Thomas and the Albert A. Sheen Campus in the RT Park on St Croix or join the event via Zoom.
