About
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The University of the Virgin Islands Office of the President will host the 2024 Dean’s List Reception and Award Ceremony on Sunday, April 14, in the Eldridge W. Blake Sports and Fitness Center on the Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas. The reception start time is 2 p.m. and the program portion begins at 3 p.m. Students are being recognized for Fall and Spring 2023.
At UVI, superior student achievement is recognized in many ways during each academic year. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time undergraduate students (carrying 12 or more-degree credits) who have earned a grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the semester, with no lower than C and not taking any remedial courses.
A reception and awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 21, in the Great Hall on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
Members of the University community, family, and friends are invited to attend. There will be a wonderful program as we celebrate UVI excellence and President Hall’s final year in hosting the event.
