The Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service (VIMAS) will host the annual International Coastal Cleanup starting September 21 and continuing through October 26.
Volunteers interested in participating in these beach cleanups can learn more about Coastweeks and register for cleanups at www.vimas.uvi.edu
Cleanup supplies will be provided but volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle as we aim to reduce waste produced during the cleanup. Students can earn 10 hours of community service per cleanup attended.
