The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) proudly shines a spotlight on Thriving Charity Advocates,
LLC, (TCA), whose generous contributions continue to uplift the university’s Music Program. This
professional fundraising organization, based in St. Thomas and recognized as an Economic
Development Commission beneficiary, is led by award-winning music producers Wesley Campbell
and David Wagner. TCA’s mission is rooted in compassion, connecting artists, tours, and live events
with humanitarian organizations to create real, tangible change for the marginalized and
underserved.

Annual donations to UVI’s music program were inspired during a conversation in 2018 with Dion
Parson, UVI’s Chair of Communication and Performing Arts Department & Director of Music,
who shared TCA’s passion and commitment to developing and expanding the music culture and
business in St. Thomas. As a company whose primary market is the music business, TCA hopes
that its partnership with the UVI music program will bear fruit on the island for years to come. Most
recently, TCA contributed an additional $30,000 to the program, further solidifying its commitment
to fostering creativity and empowering the next generation of student musicians.

TCA’s support has been instrumental in advancing UVI’s music initiatives, including the phased
development of a state-of-the-art recording studio. Essential equipment like microphones, cables,
and software have already been obtained. The next step involves securing soundproofing
materials, transforming the space into a dual-purpose classroom and recording hub. This facility
will not only enhance students’ learning experiences but also provide a professional environment
for creating high-quality recordings. TCA’s contributions will also support scholarships, new
instruments, and enriched learning opportunities for UVI students, opening doors to creative
growth and professional readiness in the music industry.

Thanks to TCA’s visionary investment, talented students are better equipped to hone their skills,
push creative boundaries, and shape a dynamic future for music in the Virgin Islands.
