About
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The Financial Aid office at the University of the Virgin Islands seeks to meet the educational cost of students, to the extent possible, depending on available funding. All students are encouraged to apply for financial assistance. Student budgets are for undergraduate and graduate students, who are residents/non-residents. The budget cost factors include both direct and indirect costs, which are used to determine a student's financial aid need. Direct costs include tuition, fees, and room, and board.
