This is a bibliographic database of European works that relate to the Americas. The database contains more than 32,000 entries and is a comprehensive guide to printed records about the Americas written in Europe before 1750. JSTOR is not a current issues database. It provides electronic, full text access to the back files of approximately 670 scholarly periodicals in a variety of disciplines, notably: Arts & Sciences; Business; Ecology & Botany; Mathematics & Statistics. Coverage begins with the first issue of the journal, and typically there is a gap from 1 to 5 years between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR.
