Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the renaming of the University of the Virgin Islands Administration and Conference Center on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 3:30 p.m. on the Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas.
The center will be named in honor of UVI President Emerita Dr. LaVerne Ragster, the University’s fourth and only female president, for her contributions to the University and her long-standing dedication to UVI, as she continues to serve the University in many impactful areas.
Dr. Ragster served the University as president from 2002 to 2009.
