Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, via Zoom.
The meeting will begin with regular session agenda items, after which UVI President Dr. David Hall will present the President’s Report, followed by Board Chairman Henry Smock with the Chairman’s Comments. The Board will then consider other agenda items.
The Finance and Budget Committee will present to the Board and take action on an HBCU Capital Financing Loan Drawdown Request.
During Saturday’s meeting, the Finance and Budget Committee will present the Fiscal Year 2024 Operating Budget to the Board. The Board will then hear the recommendation of the Finance and Budget Committee on the Teacher Investment and Annuity Association (TIAA) Investment Review Committee and take action.
The Planning Committee will then present UVI’s key performance indicators. The Board will go into executive session and will report any actions taken in executive session before adjourning.
