Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the University of the Virgin Islands Official Groundbreaking Ceremony of the School of Nursing on Monday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. on the Grounds of the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
The official Groundbreaking Ceremony of the new home of the School of Nursing will take place with University President David Hall giving remarks along with Dr. Noreen Michael, Research Director of the Caribbean Exploratory Research Center. Several students from the nursing program and government officials will be in attendance and offer their remarks for successful completion.
The University community is invited to attend this auspicious occasion.
