Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the University of the Virgin Islands Culinary Arts Program Closing Graduation Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, in the University’s 13D Research and Strategy Innovation Center on the Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas.
The program is housed under UVI’s Center for Excellence in Leadership and Learning (UVICELL) and is taught by Chef Kerish Robles, who also runs the Wild Sage Restaurant. Students that have successfully completed the program will earn the Certified Fundamentals Cook Certification through the American Culinary Federation.
The University community, family and friends are invited to this special event.
