Student Learning Outcome Assessment
Students graduating from the Bachelors of Arts in Humanities Program will be competent
in the following areas:
- Cultivated experience and expertise in developing and put forth original ideas effectively
in a variety of modes, among them writing and oral communication;
- Demonstrate understanding of the social and cultural importance of Humanities-based
forms of expression, including within the Virgin Islands;
- Exhibit the skills to critically evaluate a variety of forms of written and oral expression;
- Exhibit the skills in communicating and supporting their ideas, both in traditional
ways (the writing of essays, making oral presentations), as well as through the use
of virtual (digital) technologies.
