CROIX, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The second annual Virgin Islands Literary Festival and Book Fair is set to kick off April 20-23 with events highlighting and celebrating literature’s role in culture and society. World-renowned author Salman Rushdie will be this year’s keynote speaker. Other highlighted guests include authors Jamaica Kincaid, Elizabeth Nunez and Earl Lovelace.
