Students graduating with an associate of arts degree in accounting will possess:
Broad knowledge of financial accounting concepts and applications business situations
Broad knowledge of managerial accounting concepts and applications business situations
Apply information literacy skills to acquire and use data and information to respond
to a real-world business problem or situation
Ability to communicate information and knowledge in oral, written, and digital forms.
The School of Business uses a combination of embedded assessments and nationally normed
examinations. The accounting major embeds assessments in the respective courses.
