Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The Minor in Entrepreneurship is offered to all UVI students regardless of their degree program.
The program is designed to supplement any other degree with a focus on the fundamental skills of entrepreneurship covered in six courses or eighteen total credit hours. Entrepreneurship education will provide the student with the tools and experiences necessary to explore the role of new venture creation within their primary discipline. The program is offered on both the St. Thomas campus and the Albert A. Sheen St. Croix campus.
The Certificate in Entrepreneurship is available to all UVI students regardless of their degree program and is also available to anyone in the community interested in pursuing entrepreneurship skills. The Certificate in Entrepreneurship Program will provide the student with valuable skills that may be utilized to expand current career possibilities or maximize a current business venture. The program is offered on both the St. Thomas campus and the Albert A. Sheen St. Croix campus.
