Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, via Zoom. The meeting will begin with regular session agenda items. UVI President Dr. David Hall will present the President’s Report followed by Board Chairman Henry Smock with the Chairman’s Comments. The Board will then consider other agenda items.
The Board will hear presentations from the Academic, Research, and Student Affairs Committee and take action on an Executive MBA Tuition Increase proposal and on the School of Agriculture Associate of Applied Science in Agricultural Business and the Associate of Applied Science in General Agriculture degree programs.
The Board will then take action on the FY2022 Operating Budget Revision One and Authorize Submission of the FY2023 Appropriations request from the Government of the Virgin Islands.
During the meeting, the Planning Committee will present UVI’s key performance indicators as linked to the University’s Strategic Plan, “Greatness through Innovation.”
The Board will then go into executive session and will report any actions taken in the executive session before being adjourned.
