Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, in the Medical Simulation Center on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. The meeting will begin with regular session agenda items. UVI President Dr. David Hall will present the President’s Report followed by Board Chairman Henry Smock with the Chairman’s Comments. The Board will then consider other agenda items.
The Board will hear presentations from the Academic, Research, and Student Affairs Committee on an Associate of Arts Degree Program in General Studies and Professional Science Master’s Degree Program in Marine and Environmental Science and act.
The Board will then take action on the FY 2025 Appropriations Request for the Government of the Virgin Islands.
During the meeting, the Planning Committee will present UVI’s key performance indicators as linked to the University’s Strategic Plan, “Greatness Through Innovation.”
The Board will then go into executive session and will report any actions taken in the executive session before being adjourned.
