Graduation Information

Announcement  

The University ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 on the Orville E. Kean Campus (St. Thomas)  and Friday, May 10, 2024 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus (St. Croix).  Both ceremonies will begin promptly at 1 pm AST.

 

CAP and  Gown Pick-up Information

Orville E. Kean Campus (St. Thomas)

  • Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Monday, May 6, 2024 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Albert A. Sheen Campus (St. Croix)

  • Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (ongoing until graduation).

 

Graduation Rehearsal

Orville E. Kean Campus (St. Thomas)

Monday, May 6, 2024 at 4:00 pm in the Sports and Fitness Center (SFC).

 

Albert A. Sheen Campus (St. Croix)

Tueday, May 7, 2024 at 2:30 pm by the Commencement Tent.

Cap and Gown and Diploma 

In order to receive cap and gowns, student must first apply for graduation via MyCampus. Once you have applied for graduation you must fill out the form below to receive your cap and gowns and to indicate your participation on the Spring 2024 graduation ceremony.

Deadline to measure for Cap and Gown:

  March 11, 2024 at 11:59 pm

Regarding diploma information:

Deadline to Apply for graduation is March 11, 2024.  Application can be found on MyCampus.

Steps to Apply for Graduation:

  1. Login to MyCampus.uvi.edu
  2. Click on BanWeb Cloud
  3. Click on the Student Tab
  4. Click on Student Records
  5. Click Apply to Graduate
  6. Select Term (Spring 2024)

Participation:

  • Only students who have met all graduation requirements can participate in the Commencement Ceremony. All undergraduate students must have completed all required classes in their major with a minimum grade of (C) and a cumulative 2.00 GPA.
  • All graduate students must have completed all required classes in their major with a minimum grade of (B) and a cumulative 3.00 GPA. As a graduate student, you are allowed a maximum of two (C) grades.
