Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
La Voix, French for "The Voice," started back in 2021 as a dynamic duo with the talented vocals of Rubina Wade accompanied by Samuel N. Williams on keyboard. Since then, the duo expanded to a full band featuring Marvin Shelford on drums, Uriel M.J. Rogers on bass, with an additional vocalist, Enoch S. Noel. La Voix's repertoire is wide ranging to include R&B, Reggae, Pop, Funk and more. They have been rocking the Virgin Islands with awesome live performances, bringing joy to a multitude of events and venues. Their music has a fresh and elegant vibe that resonates with audiences of all kinds.
