The Board of Trustees has primary responsibility for governance of the University of the Virgin Islands under the provisions of Title 17, Chapters 33 and 35 of the Virgin Islands Code. The Board consists of 17 voting trustees. Meetings of the UVI Board of Trustees are held at least three times a year.
