University of the Virgin Islands Ocean Glider Laboratory: Part of the UVI Center for Marine and Environmental Studies
The UVI Ocean Glider Laboratory was established in 2022 through an NSF Major Research Instrumentation Award. UVI owns and operates two Teledyne Webb Research G3 Slocum Gliders, and partners with other institutions to use Ocean Gliders and other uncrewed systems to support UVI and regional research and educational programs.
