University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Ambassador, Eunisha Lawrence, will represent the University in her role as Miss UVI 2023-2024 at the 38th Annual National Black College Queens Competition in Atlanta, Ga. as part of the Alumni Hall of Fame weekend from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.

On Sunday, Oct. 15, World Food Day will be observed from noon to 6 p.m. on the grounds of the University of the Virgin Islands’ Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.  The day will kick-off with a formal opening ceremony and continue with educational workshops, a food vendor’s court, a farmers' market, demonstrations, a petting zoo, entertainment, a “House of CANs” competition, and distribution of free vegetable seedlings. 

The Caribbean Green Technology Center (CGTC) of the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) and the VI Energy Office (VIEO) invite the public to the second Annual VI Energy and Sustainability Fair at the Orville E. Thanks to a recent donation of iMac computers from the AROC Foundation, students at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) have increased access to iMac computers, which are essential to programming apps for the iOS operating system and other Apple programs.
