New and transfer students at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) are invited to kick off the new year and the 2023 Spring Semester with orientation sessions and a convocation ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 5.

UVI Joins NAIA's Gulf Coast Athletic Conference

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ (NAIA) Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) has extended a membership invitation for the University of the Virgin Islands to join the league beginning in the 2023-24 academic year, announced in a press conference on the University’s Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas this morning.

In the regular session of its quarterly meeting on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in the Administration and Conference Center Building, the University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a new Associate of Applied Science degree program in Construction Management.
