The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) women's cross-country team is set to open its 2024 season on Saturday, September 21, at the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Caribbean Writer (TCW) journal, embedded in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of the Virgin Islands, has issued its call for submissions for Volume 39 under the 2024 theme: “Beyond Tradition: Inside of Courage.”

Due to heavy rains expected this week, organizers at the University of the Virgin Islands’ (UVI) Reichhold Center for the Arts (RCA) have decided to move the location of the Blue Horizon UB40 Concert from the outdoor golf course on the Orville E. Kean campus to the Elridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center. The concert will still take place as scheduled on Sunday, August 18, at 6 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
