Dance instructors from the University of the Virgin Islands’ (UVI) Department of Communication and Performing Arts are presenting virtual dance workshops this month to highlight the dance techniques and academic studies offered in the newly launched Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) dance program. The workshops are offered free of charge to the public, and high school students are encouraged to participate.

The Nominations Committee of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) has elected Haldane Davies, vice president for Business Development and Innovation of the University of the Virgin Islands to serve on the IEDC Board of Directors. The nomination took place during IEDC's 2020 Annual Conference, which ran from Oct. 13-16, 2020. Dr. Davies’ term begins on January 1, 2021.
