After a fun filled evening of pageantry and performances, LaMonee Morris, a University of the Virgin Islands psychology major, was crowned Miss UVI 2024 on Saturday, April 6, in the Cafetorium on the University’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.

In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Brown versus Board of Education, the landmark U.S. Superior Court decision that made racial segregation illegal in public schools, the University of the Virgin Islands' College of Liberal Arts and Social Science (UVI CLASS,) will host a Fireside Chat to discuss this ruling on Wednesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Evans Center Suite 401 (EVC401- Little Theatre) on UVI’s Albert A.
