The University of the Virgin Islands is celebrating the 57th anniversary of its Charter this month with a wide range of events.

The University of the Virgin Islands received yet another donation from Greenleaf VI II, Inc. in the amount of $69,000, at a check presentation ceremony held on the University’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on Wednesday, March 13.

MSNBC national television host, political analyst, journalist, columnist and author Joy-Ann Reid will be the keynote speaker at the University of the Virgin Islands’ 2019 commencement ceremonies.

Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph a donation presentation at the University of the Virgin Islands, where Greenleaf VI II, Inc., a participant in the Economic Development Agency (EDA) program, will make a donation to the University of the Virgin Islands at 10:30 a.m. on March 13.

In the regular session of its quarterly meeting on March 2, on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix, the University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees unanimously approved new tuition pricing for selected members of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States under terms of individual Memorandums of Understanding (MOU).

This Spring, University of the Virgin Islands students will get a chance to “Serve, Learn and Grow” during the third Annual Alternative Spring Break (ASB).

Beginning with the 2019-2020 academic year, students who have graduated from secondary school in the U.S. Virgin Islands will have one less concern about their college careers: tuition payments.
