The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, in the Administration and Conference Center, first-floor conference room, on the St. Thomas Campus.

Miss UVI, Che-Raina Warner, 2016-2017 queen of the University of the Virgin Islands, used her extraordinary grace, intelligence and talent with the spoken word to win the title of Miss National Black College Alumni (NBCA) Hall of Fame – becoming the second Miss UVI to achieve that distinguished honor in three years.

The University of the Virgin Islands is pleased to announce the student ambassador for the 2016 White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Joásh T. Liburd will represent UVI as one of 73 students from across 63 HBCU’s in the United States.

The University of the Virgin Islands Certified Public Manager program (VI-CPM) distributed certificates to 30 graduates across two ceremonies last week.
