Three University of the Virgin Islands student entrepreneurs earned $60,000 at the 5th annual 13D Entrepreneurship Competition on April 21, on the St. Thomas Campus.

University of the Virgin Islands Sophomore Joy Grant, social science major, and UVI Junior Gerald Bellot, applied math major, placed second in the international Games4Health, the world’s largest and most competitive student health game design competition, held at the University of Utah on March 30.

Sheen Campus on St. Croix.

Iyanla Vanzant, prolific and commanding author, soulful priestess, television personality and healer of people, will be the keynote speaker at the University of the Virgin Islands 2017 commencement ceremonies.

The University of the Virgin Islands will celebrate University Pride throughout the month of April. UVI alumni, students, faculty and staff will showcase their Buccaneer spirit with events in the territory, on campus and online.

The University of the Virgin Islands Student Government Association and its Social and Cultural Committee are hosting the 2nd Annual UVI Village, which will be held on Thursday, April 13, in the Sports and Fitness Center front parking lot.

Angelique Flemming was crowned Miss University of the Virgin Islands 2017-2018 at the 37th Annual Miss UVI Ambassadorial Competition held Saturday, April 8, at the St. Croix Educational Complex on St. Croix.
