Brothers With a Cause, a student component of the Male Initiative of the University of the Virgin Islands, will host a public conversation for young men with visiting scientist Dr. Cecil Jennings.

The Information and Technology Services component of the University of the Virgin Islands plans to kick-off National Library Week 2011 with a ceremony on Monday, April 11, to introduce recent enhancements made to the Ralph M. Paiewonsky Library on the St. Thomas campus.

The venue for the UVI Theatre mainstage production of "Old Story Time," by Trevor D. Rhone, has been switched from Yacht Haven Grande to the Reichhold Center for the Arts and the opening date has changed from Friday April 8 to Thursday, April 14, 2011.

Research Fishery Biologist Dr. Cecil A. Jennings will be the next scientist to tour the territory's schools as part of the VI-EPSCoR Celebrity Scientists Tour, in which well-known local, national and international scientists make their way to schools across the territory in hopes of increasing students' interest in the sciences.

UVI junior communications major Sondria Pemberton has been selected as one of seven finalists in the national Sprint 4G Filmmakers Challenge.
